Yellow Belt entries are still pretty easy, with maybe just one thing about them that pushed them out of the White Belt level. For example, the upper riff from "In My Own Eyes" by Brandie Carlile sounds like white-belt, until you find out it's in tenth position and uses a 2-string barre. Or, the "Take It or Leave It" riff by The Strokes is only three notes, but it's twice as fast as your average White Belt. For scales, take the G Form and Chromatic scales from White, and learn to re-finger and move them up the neck to any position.
